The Philodendron Melinonii Golden is a striking cultivar of the Philodendron Melinonii species, an evergreen perennial belonging to the Araceae family. Native to tropical rainforests, this particular variety is distinguished by its large, elongated, deeply ribbed or textured leaves that emerge with a vibrant golden-green to chartreuse coloration, often maturing to a brighter green while retaining golden undertones. As a 'large' specimen, it can develop a substantial and impressive stature, making it a prominent feature in indoor plant collections or shaded garden environments in suitable climates. It thrives in warm, humid conditions with bright, indirect light and well-draining soil, typical of many tropical Philodendrons, and is highly valued for its ornamental foliage.

Sunlight
Tolerates low sunlight or fluorescent light, but will thrive in medium, indirect light. Direct, bright sunlight should be avoided.
Maintenance
Water when top two inches of soil are dry. Water thoroughly.
Temperature
Does well at room temperature between 60°F - 77°F. Cold temperatures should be avoided.
Humidity
Prefers higher levels of humidity, around 75% or above.
