Anthurium Hookeri, commonly known as the Bird's Nest Anthurium, is a striking epiphytic plant native to the tropical Americas, particularly the Caribbean. It is highly valued for its large, leathery, dark green leaves that grow in a compact, upward-facing rosette, creating a resemblance to a bird's nest. Unlike many other Anthurium species, its primary appeal is its impressive foliage rather than showy flowers. The leaves are typically ovate to oblong with distinct, raised veins, and the 'XL' designation refers to its potential for substantial size. It is a popular ornamental houseplant, cherished for its architectural form and ability to thrive in humid, indirect light conditions.

Sunlight
Tolerates low sunlight or fluorescent light, but will thrive in medium, indirect light. Direct, bright sunlight should be avoided.
Maintenance
Water when top two inches of soil are dry. Water thoroughly.
Temperature
Does well at room temperature between 60°F - 77°F. Cold temperatures should be avoided.
Humidity
Prefers higher levels of humidity, around 75% or above.
